Awesome 5 day Mountain stage race. almost got run over by the race on Sunday morning taking a hike with the fam… check out updates on the race and more photos here or here! Some exciting stuff going on around here.. received word today that the posters I have done for ARTCRANK -Denver are printed and being shipped!!! SO excited to see them. A BIG thanks Valhalla Studios out of KC for printing them. They do some great work. Check out more about ARTCRANK below. I could have a few pritns lefft after the show if anyone is intersted please give me a ring.. FYI I’ll post a pic shortly after the show!
ARTCRANK Denver will open on Saturday, September 4 at the Lisa Koslowski Gallery in Denver’s River North Arts District. The show will feature the work of 56 local artists and run through Saturday, September 11. It will also serve as a kick-off to the Denver edition of the Bicycle Film Festival, which is scheduled for September 9-11.
In that spirit, plan on biking down to the opening night party on Septmeber 4: Bike Denver is setting us up for valet bike parking in the evening, and the folks at Denver B-cycle are offering a sweet deal on annual memberships with every poster purchase. The poster party will roll on from 1:00 p.m. ’til 11:00 p.m. If you’re on Facebook, please RSVP so we know you’re coming.
ARTCRANK is a showcase of bicycle-inspired original poster artwork that people can enjoy looking at and afford to take home. ARTCRANK began in Minneapolis in 2007, and has expanded to Denver, St. Louis, Portland, San Francisco and Des Moines. In September 2010, we’ll hold our first international show in London.
Every ARTCRANK show features posters created by local artists from the host city. Admission is always free, and posters are priced to let everybody take home at least one.

CrossFit Mountain Sectionals are this weekend!!! Get ready for some great competition. Good luck to all the Competitors. Worked with my great friends at CF Verve to create the Event Graphics. Flyers, Banners, Web, etc.. Looking forward to seeing the Tees we worked on.. Maybe next year I’ll compete???
Saw these new Gravis Bags today… Pretty nice.. not sure I am down with the patches ( seems to be a common theme) could have been a bit smaller but they complete the expedition look. Great use of pop color. photo courtesy of Hypebeast.
So I haven’t posted in awhile.. Have a few new projects in the works. Busy putting things together and trying to make things happen.
The Nike Blazer High Carbon Fiber, as the name suggests, uses carbon fiber’s to construct the entire outer surface of the shoe, while the mid-foot, forefoot accent piece, heel tab and tongue are all made of grey nubuck. The traditional Nike swoosh is in white while the outsole is done in two different tones of grey.

I gather my inspiration from everything. Now I am completely stoked on the design of Nike’s new Pro Combat Uniforms I have to say that Mizzou takes the cake on this… check it out on MU’s site. or more of the Nike Pro Combat uniforms here. I love the matte finish on their helmet.. More teams should do this!
